On June 17, 2012 Fruth Pharmacy of Hurricane, WV hosted the Webkinz Tour Bus. The bus tour drew in over 80 fans and their parents of the educational toy, Webkinz. People from all over the area attended the tour. One father and his daughter travelled all the way from Maryland to see the Webkinz!

What are Webkinz? Webkinz are stuffed animals that help teach children responsibility. How it works: Webkinz work in conjunction with a website. When a child receives a Webkinz, the Webkinz comes with a special code. A child can use this code when he or she logs onto the Webkinz website. Once the code is entered on the site, the child adopts the Webkinz, names the Webkinz, and decides if it is a boy or a girl. After the Webkinz is adopted and registered, children will have endless hours of fun on the website as they learn how to care for their Webkinz. Webkinz will get hungry, happy, and have a health report. Children get to design a room for their pet and are given kinzcash to buy new furniture and other things for their pet’s virtual room. Children have the opportunity to play games, do trivia questions, and enter contests on the Webkinz website with their new best friend.
